Tsvetelina Stoyanova: I hope we will keep young people in the city

Hard work is bubbling around the river, and residents of Gabrovi are enthusiastically commenting on what will be built on the site next to the “curly bridge”… We look at the projects and are pleasantly surprised by the vision, the color scheme, the modern appearance and the development concept of the two buildings that will appear before our eyes in the next two years. We are talking about this with Tsvetelina Stoyanova – representative of the class “A” investor – “Scientia” AD.

– “Green investment” – in this category, the project of “Scientia” AD was nominated in the “Investor of the Year” competition for 2019. What is behind the idea for a new IT company in Gabrovo?

Construction of a software complex of the highest class in the heart of Bulgaria. The desire to develop software engineering, innovations and developments in the field of information technologies, as well as the technological times we are in, necessitated the implementation of our business strategy. The location of the places where the construction of the software engineering complex started motivated us further and the decision was made. The nomination in the “Green Investment” category completely coincides with our views on building a center of the highest class, with modern and ecological solutions for its implementation.

– What is the size of the investment, how many new jobs will be created in Gabrovo and what is the concept for future development?

The size of the future investment will be around BGN 7 million. Two buildings will be built along the Yantra River, where between 350 and 400 colleagues engaged in highly intellectual work will work in a suitable environment. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for young people in Gabrovo to stay in our city, as well as to attract more investments from all over the country. Two training halls will be built in the complex, where different companies from the industry, educational institutions and training companies will be able to partner, conduct tests and trials necessary to achieve our goals. We know that this will be a long and difficult process, but we hope that our investment will attract other companies and improve both the economic and social situation in the city.

– How do you imagine life in the new two buildings after 2022, when they are expected to be completed?

I sincerely hope that after 2022 the complex will be filled with young and creative people, ready to contribute through their ideas and thinking to the development of software engineering in Gabrovo. In our training centers, we intend to conduct programming courses, joint trainings, presentations of the products and services we develop. There will be an establishment for recreation and catering, and when someone decides to play sports, he will be able to take advantage of the gym in the complex and the playground in the immediate vicinity of one of the buildings. Each floor will have a loggia and a place to eat and have coffee with colleagues.

– Why did you choose this investment to take place in Gabrovo?

First of all, because we are from Gabrovo and we think that nobody likes the depopulation of our city. Secondly, because of the location of the places where the future software complex will be built. The muffled noises from the central part of the city, the sound of the river and the clean air of Gabrovo, are just some of the things that convinced us to invest right here. And last but not least, because in Gabrovo it is safe to start a family and raise your children. The easy access to childcare facilities and schools, the quick commute to the workplace, the beauty and greenery of nature in the city and the region, as well as the climate, make Gabrovo an attractive destination for specialists in the IT sector. In our software company, which develops activities in the capital, getting to work and finding a free place in a childcare center are becoming more and more of a problem for our colleagues.

– There is something significant in the fact that this investment is happening by the river – the place that Racho Kovača chose to create his workshop and become the reason for the existence of Gabrovo… Was the choice accidental?

When we were considering our future plans, we looked at places in Ruse, Sofia and Gabrovo. The grounds by the Yantra River won the sympathy of everyone on the team. When you work in the big city, you have to sacrifice a lot of things in your life. Clean air, a unique view, tranquility, these are some of the things that decided the place of investment.

– Describe the company’s team in a few words… What kind of people can become part of it?

Our team is our greatest asset and value. People are what make us a successful company. Qualification and professionalism, knowledge and skills are only one side of the coin. Our team is made up of motivated and ambitious people who are constantly striving to improve and learn. They can work hard but still have fun. That’s the secret. We are proud of him.

– Is it easy or difficult to succeed in your hometown?

If I say it’s easy, I’d be lying. The road to success is long and difficult, but when you feel satisfaction from what you have done, you understand that it is worth it. I really hope that the people of Gabrovo will like our idea and that
